Blessed Beyond Measure

God is so good to us. He continues to provide for us during the pregnancy in preparation for our little one. Two friends have loaned Tasha maternity clothes. This is such a blessing. Maternity clothes can be expensive, hard to find, and are very easy to grow out of quickly. She's been blessed to have a growing wardrobe. Also, we have received some boy clothes from others friends. If we have a boy, these clothes will come in handy. Today I had lunch with an out-of-town friend that brought us bags of girl clothes. I asked him if he felt like Santa Clause today. Tasha and I are so touched by the all the loving responses and sincere well wishes toward our coming addition.

We are now in week 23 of the pregnancy. The baby is similar in size to a large mango. Here is a look back at Tasha over the past couple months.

20 Week Ultrasound

We got to see lots of little movements today. The baby's head was at Tasha's navel with feet downward, the baby was facing Tasha's right hip, with the left side being at Tasha's tummy. (Yes, I know that this is very specific. Remember I work in an engineering firm. :P) This made it pretty hard to see if we're having a boy or a girl. The tech said that we'll need another ultrasound in four weeks so that they will be able to get better images of the baby's developing spine. We'll get a confirmation at that appointment if we'll be getting a boy or a girl. Currently our baby being a girl is 80% sure. Hurray!
