Orthodoxy vs Orthopaxy

Definitions:

The word orthodox, from Greek orthodoxos "having the right opinion," from orthos ("right, true, straight") + doxa ("opinion, praise", related to dokein, "thinking"), is typically used to mean adhering to the accepted or traditional and established faith, especially in religion.

Orthopraxy is a term derived from Greek (ρθοπραξις) meaning "correct action/activity", and is a religion that places emphasis on conduct, both ethical and liturgical, as opposed to faith or grace etc. This contrasts with orthodoxy, emphasizing a correct belief, and ritualism, the use of rituals.

Can orthodoxy produce orthopaxy? What did Paul think? See link.

How can this disconnect between mind and heart be properly linked?

The link comes from prayer & God's grace. Pastor Chris says our hearts are twisted sticks. It takes continual work to keep the heart & mind in alignment with God's.

This is completely off-subject, but my children love the bubble wrap and the frog widgets on your blog. They keep asking me if we can come here and play with them!

Yeah we love the bubble wrap too. I also have other widgets on my igoogle page - turtles, fish, hamster, and a spider. Add them to your blog too!

Where's your igoogle page? I was thinking about seeing if there was a spider.
