Oh my gosh! That is SOOOOOOOOOOO cute! I know you were going for the creativity of the egg, but I liked the chicken best.:) Made me think of the good 'ol Midwest.:)
Well, how about rural California? I can hear a rooster at random time throughout my teaching day due to the fact that next to my wing is the kindergarten playground. The playground is rather long and narrow. Next to the playground is the very vocal rooster! I can't help but laugh as I wonder what story I walked into to hear a rooster outside my door.
