Clovis Flowers

I went for a walk and what did I see
A bunch of flowers coming after me

These were flowers that I got at Costco for my sister's shower. Don't they look great?

Tasha, I love you every day and I'm so thankful for our special friendship. But, I gotta say that I love you just a tiny bit more in the summers because you have a little more freedom. Your freedoms allow you to do things like capture God's beauty. You are gifted at finding Him in the flowers that so many of us just pass by every day without thinking. When the school year gets tough (and, unfortunately it will), carve out some time for a nature walk- no matter the weather. Bundle up, grab your camera & see what He shows you. Call it "Garden Therapy"! Miss you- Kari

I totally agree with the concept of Garden Therapy. On Sunday I took a walk because I had to get out of the house and just think. Although I was intentionally not working on school stuff on Sunday, it was hard not to be anxious about this week. I took 50 some pictures, some of which you see on this post. I felt SOOOOO much better afterwards! Plus,we worked with the youth after and played ultimate frisbee! I was able to give my total focus to the youth, and trying to figure out the frisbee game;)

Tasha, God confirms to me why He gave you to our family so often. We are so much alike! When we got here the one thing I knew I would miss was flowers. But He knew and He gave me a yard full and then a trip to the Gardens. I totally agreed with Kari - Garden Therapy is the best way to see His beauty. Love, AMA

Kyle and I went on a walk last night and took some photos too!!! I look forward to seeing them. The creative power used to create flowers stuns, awes, and amazes me:)

i LOVE the top flower pic! It is awesome!!! i love the out of focus background and the in focus flowers, AND how it's off center. Very cool!

Thanks for the complement Stacy. You can thank my high school art teacher for the off center effect. I tended to put things right in the middle of the page, and she worked with me to get them off centered.
